Let me talk real quick about Seal Beach. It truly isn’t the most beautiful beach in the entire world, but I think it’s kind of underrated, actually! If you are staying in Anaheim or near Disneyland, it’s one of the easier beaches to get to. It has a quaint little shopping area across the street, a pier, decent parking, and obviously plenty of sand and water to go around. A great photo spot, without the crowds of places like Santa Monica Pier or Malibu.
When I shot this session, I had never been to Seal Beach before, so I was a little nervous about what to expect. But even with a HUGE GROUP that showed up for a family reunion, it worked out beautifully.
This session is one that I found while organizing my hard drives (yes that’s a thing) and realized I had never put it up on the blog. To be completely honest, it was a ton of work. Big groups always are. And by the time I shot the photos, sorted the photos, edited the photos, and made a photo book for the family, I was just relieved to be done. It was swiftly put away into my archives. Now, nearly two years later, I am seeing it with fresh eyes and couldn’t wait to share. It was just a gorgeous day and everyone was so cool and friendly and cooperative. An all around fantastic experience!
