My brother and sister-in-law recently took a cross-country road trip, and Southern Cal was on their list of places to stop.  It was awesome to see them and I had fun showing them around.  We did a little impromptu shoot while we were at Santa Monica Pier.  The light was so great in the late evening, I couldn’t resist.  Plus, I wanted to get them used to being in front of the camera because I plan on doing a family shoot for them in the near future.  But as you can see, they really didn’t need the practice!  Great to see you guys, can’t wait to do it again. While I hate that my sister lives so far away, I also love that she lives just close enough to take her vacations here in California.  It gives us a few opportunities a year to hang out and be tourists.  And we always have so much fun.  This time she was here a little longer than usual, so we squeezed lots in.  It’s always an adventure keeping the cutest nephew entertained.  But he talks about Disneyland constantly, so for his 3rd birthday, where else would we go?   Miss you already sissy. Besides the Happiest Place on Earth, we also went to Travel Town, the Zoo, the Kidspace Museum, the beach, and an awesome Pumpkin Patch.  Who knew little ol’ Burbank had so many fun things to offer?  I think the cute smiles say it all!  Man, I love his face!! This was the best day you could ask for at Disneyland.  A fun family, minimal crowds, nice weather… it doesn’t get much better.  Thanks for inviting me along on your vacation!  I had a great time!
