Disneyland Vacation Photographer {Disney Shot for January}

If you don’t know by now that the Fireworks Spectacular at Disneyland is one of my favorite things on earth, then this must be one of the first Disney posts you’re checking out. I LOVE the fireworks show. It always takes my breath away and makes me feel like a goofy kid. It puts a little sparkle in my eye. And this time was even better because I got to see that same little sparkle in my son’s eye. I do have way too many shots of the show though, and after awhile they all start to look the same. So this time I wanted to try something a little different. It’s like a million little hidden Mickeys in the sky!

I have never really gotten into the Disneyland parades. I always thought it was the best time to go on rides while all those suckers were sitting and waiting on the side of Main Street. But, with a little one, I have to say the parades are kind of awesome. I was all over the “Christmas Fantasy Parade”!

I’m daydreaming about Paris instead.

Sometimes I like to go back to my old pics and re-work them using new tricks I’ve learned over the years. Not as fun as actually being in Paris, but brings back happy memories. *Sigh*

Once in awhile I get lucky and catch the Barbershop Quartet out and about. They are so good and totally add to the atmosphere on Main Street. You can see the guy on the end there is really going for that high note! Good stuff.Camera: Canon EOS 7D

This month I gotta give a shout out to my pal Heather. She recently underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor in her cerebellum, and so far is doing ok in recovery. She went home after only a few days in the hospital but has had to go back in since then. I just know she will be fine though. I think about her every day while she struggles with this ordeal. There are few things she loves in life – her family (especially her nephews), her cats, and Disneyland. I plan on going there with her as soon as she’s all better. Girl I am hoping you will be back to yourself in no time at all! Because Lord knows, I need another trip to Disneyland! :) Best wishes friend.Love,
